Here’s some breaking news: CNN’s Wolf Blitzer had on Speaker Nancy Pelosi as a guest Tuesday and actually pressed her on why the Democrats won’t compromise on a coronavirus stimulus package. It was strange to see Blitzer not rolling over, but it’s laugh-out-loud hilarious that Pelosi considers Blitzer and many of his colleagues at CNN of being apologists for the Republican position.
“I don’t know why you’re always an apologist – and many of your colleagues – an apologist for the Republican position,” Pelosi says to @wolfblitzer when pressed why not accept $1.8 trillion stimulus proposed by the WH. “I will not let the wrong be the enemy of the right.”
