Sen. Chuck Schumer is still whining about that cap on SALT deductions

The Democrats, led by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, fought aggressively against the GOP “tax scam” and lost, and suddenly the middle class was paying less in taxes and businesses were giving out bonuses and raises.

They’ll still argue that the GOP tax cuts only benefitted the rich, but what really has Schumer upset is the $10,000 cap on state and local taxes that can be deducted on individual returns, where previously there was no limit, meaning residents of high-tax blue states would suddenly wake up and realize how much they were paying the state.

New York, Connecticut, Maryland, and New Jersey are all taking their challenge to the federal appeals court.

You keep on fighting that cap … or, you could just lower state and local taxes to a reasonable level.

Maybe after the lawsuit is thrown out again New York might consider lowering taxes? Nah.
