As Twitchy reported earlier, Chick-fil-A seems to have bowed to the LGBTQ outrage mob, announcing the Chick-fil-A Foundation will no longer donate to the Salvation Army, the Paul Anderson Youth Home, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
The Salvation Army already found itself in the crosshairs last week when singer Ellie Goulding’s Instagram followers were upset to see that she was going to perform at the Dallas Cowboy’s Thanksgiving halftime show, which kicks off the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff holiday fundraising drive. She threatened to cancel unless the Salvation Army addressed her concerns about LGBTQ inclusiveness, either by making a donation or releasing a statement.
Chad Felix Greene has written a great thread inspired by Goulding, and he makes such a powerful and obvious point: nothing will ever be enough.
The @salvationarmy responds: 'We don't hate or discriminate against LGBT people.'

What kind of hate group aggressively provides evidence they do not hate anyone, aggressively denounces hatred and openly welcomes the people they are accused of hating?
To the Left? A Christian one.?♂️

Dear Christians: How much of your faith are you willing to publicly denounce and abandon in order for the left to continue damning you for what you believed in the past anyway?

The progressive religion has no concept of redemption.
You can only hope to receive slightly less punishment if you agree to violate your beliefs and abandon your faith today and promise not to offend them ever again.

Here is the thing.
Christians did nothing wrong.
The gay rights movement came on the heels of the Sexual Revolution and Christians opposed the drug, sex and hedonism of the culture.
Christians had direct religious references to this culture in their Bible.— Chad Felix Greene (@chadfelixg) November 18, 2019
Christians *always* opened their doors to gay people while denouncing homosexuality.
Christians opposed sexual education that included gay culture's views on sexuality.
Christians opposed changing marriage to accommodate the demands of gay culture.— Chad Felix Greene (@chadfelixg) November 18, 2019
Every step of the way Christians *reacted* to what the extreme left flaunted in their faces.
Christians were *right* to stand up to the *culture* the gay movement created and promoted.
Today Christians continue being open and welcome to gays.
You did nothing wrong.— Chad Felix Greene (@chadfelixg) November 18, 2019
Christians are being punished for standing up to liberal culture that demanded they abandon all of their beliefs and values.
While we may look back at the language used and cringe, it was all a *reaction* to the obscenity thrown at them from the left.— Chad Felix Greene (@chadfelixg) November 18, 2019
Today our Christian friends are being targeted and retroactively prosecuted for beliefs they held two decades ago. They are being forced to denounce views that were perfectly in sync with rational and moral people at the time.
They are being bullied for their beliefs.

Do not apologize for believing the gay rights movement of the 1980's and 90's was dangerous to the culture.
It was.
Do not apologize for believing the SCOTUS same-sex marriage ruling would usher in aggressive anti-Christian bigotry.
It did.

BAKE THE CAKE.
Do not apologize for standing up for your beliefs because a powerful minority accused you of hatred for doing so.
Do not let them chain you in the public square to list your sins simply because they won.
— Chad Felix Greene (@chadfelixg) November 18, 2019
'They believe homosexuality is sinful' is *not* justification for public persecution.

The 2020 Trump campaign slogan should be: "LGBT: Its Not Always About You"
— Chad Felix Greene (@chadfelixg) November 18, 2019
Heads would explode, but it would be worth it.
Ellie Goulding threatens to cancel her Thanksgiving half-time show because it is sponsored by The Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army immediately states they in no way promote anti-LGBT anything.
Didn't matter.
The left *HATES* them for one reason only.— Chad Felix Greene (@chadfelixg) November 18, 2019
The @SalvationArmyUS includes 'Serving the LGBT Community' on its 'How you can help' page.
Not good enough.https://t.co/5iTSOFrhEY pic.twitter.com/q2GnW11wH0

As we said, it will never be enough. Nothing will ever be enough.
