Washington Post: Gov. Coonman's 'bright blue Virginia' has left the Confederacy behind

As Twitchy reported, the lesson to be learned from this week’s election in Virginia is to never resign, no matter how serious the controversy. Gov. Ralph “Coonman” Northam declared on election night that “Virginia is officially blue” after election results showed a complete Democrat takeover of the state.

As Ben Domenech put it, “Two blackface scandals, a sexual assault accusation, and post-birth abortion comments did zero damage to Democrats in Virginia, now a solidly blue state.”

The Washington Post has a different perspective to share, though.
