'The article also details Hunter Biden's business dealings': Looks like the Biden campaign's dropping some baggage

We saw this earlier Monday but didn’t want to seem too insensitive, as addiction is a horrible thing. Still, there was this nagging feeling that the Joe Biden campaign was trying to clear the decks after Biden tanked in the first debate, losing significant ground to Kamala Harris, who hammered him on his work with segregationists.

But then we read the CNN piece, which is actually a summary of a piece in the New Yorker. There’s a lot about drug addiction, a mention of his marriage, and finally — 11 paragraphs in — the tiny detail of “Hunter Biden’s business dealings, including work in Ukraine and China, which have become fodder for President Donald Trump and his allies.” In other words, Republicans have pounced.

The Federalist’s Molly Hemingway read the New Yorker piece and still came away in awe of the scandals covered.
