Trump rape accuser tells Lawrence O'Donnell she wishes she had asked for … his tax returns?

As Twitchy reported earlier, in an upcoming New York magazine piece, writer E. Jean Carroll recounts the time she was allegedly sexually assaulted by Donald Trump in a Bergdorf Goodman changing room (which Trump has denied).

Any rape allegation is to be taken seriously, but things took a weird turn when Carroll told Lawrence O’Donnell in an interview that the reason she wouldn’t press charges is that it would be “disrespectful to the women who are down on the border who are being raped around the clock.”

If that bizarre answer gave you a suspicion that this all might be politically motivated, enjoy this clip in which she says she wishes she would have asked Trump for his tax returns in exchange for her age.

The accusations are never official and in a proper court setting to stand against scrutiny because they don't meet any legal criteria. Instead it's viscous, unsubstantiated hearsay. But it does drive hits and page views and it gets you infamously known.

It’s so clear — Trump colluded with Bergdorf Goodman (which is secretly owned by Russia) to have the employees of the store abandon the lingerie department and leave the dressing room door unlocked so he could attack this woman. O’Donnell is happy to promote this “news” story.

If she is telling the truth, this interview with O’Donnell was not the way to make her story any more credible.
