We don’t have any Twitchy editors who live in California, so maybe this will sound completely normal to someone from Los Angeles, but it sounded typically Californian to us. The politicians there don’t seem to realize how incompetent they are, or how much human feces they’d have to step over if they ever had to walk to city hall.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti was proud to announce the first step in ending homelessness in his city. First, you get citizens to recognize their common humanity. We’re not sure about Step 2, but he thinks painting murals highlighting homeless people will get him there.
To end homelessness, we have to recognize our common humanity. The #DearNeighborLA murals send a strong message of support for housing homeless Angelenos. The first mural highlights LaShawn, a homeless mother in South L.A. who is working to provide for her son. pic.twitter.com/0wmg5LbrLB

Just curious how a mural keeps a homeless person warm at night, dry in the rain and fed when hungry???

LA Times: L.A.'s homelessness surged 75% in six years.
"The problem has only gotten worse since Mayor Eric Garcetti took office in 2013 and a liberal Democratic supermajority emerged in 2016 on the county Board of Supervisors."https://t.co/5hrLY8QSbb

You did this

Translation: we manufactured a crisis so we can do a state takeover of people’s homes.

So an art project will defeat homelessness

Arts and crafts aren't going to cure the homeless epidemic in your city.

I love art but art is not going to solve the problem. What LA needs is to come to their senses, get rid of you incompetent dims, and vote for people who know how to actually solve problems. You are just silly.
— Yvette (@_CosmicGirl) May 7, 2019
Thank you, yes! Stop punching us all in the face at the voting booths, people. Doing the same thing over and over expecting some different result, and all that.

The incompetence is unbelievable.

Make sure you take care of the illegal immigrants first
— Richie (@Richie_Sloth) May 7, 2019
Mayor.
Please fix it.
This ain't it.
You are literally doing nothing in my neighborhood. VB
— Hackride (@Asterdarius) May 7, 2019
Maybe he’ll have someone paint a mural there next.
Is this a joke? you are without a doubt the worst, most ineffective, clueless mayor we've ever been disgraced with. And that's saying something after the last loser we had in office. My only consolation is I did NOT vote for you. You're an empty suit.
— patricia stewart (@beesknees1960) May 7, 2019
Did you at least hire and pay homeless people to paint your virtue signal mural, or was even that more effort than you were willing to put in?
— Rachel ???? (@RaychelTania) May 7, 2019
Yes, a couple of stupid murals will solve everything you freaking dolt. Mayor Yoga Pants at it again! Please resign before the city falls completely apart.
— Annie Bannanie (@AnnieMargrock) May 7, 2019
Yeah, that'll help the problem. #LiberalismIsAMentalDisorder

The city is overflowing with drug addicted schizophrenic bums and he wants to paint pictures https://t.co/esrt4bBNa5

Who are all of those people posing in front of the mural and what have any of them actually done to solve the homelessness problem?
