We already know, and have known for months, that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ “sister” in the House of Representatives, Rep. Ilhan Omar, is a backer of the Nicolas Maduro regime, joining Russia, Cuba, and Iran in opposing President Trump’s “coup attempt.”
Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, and Rep. Rashida Tlaib tend to agree on just about everything, so you’d think Ocasio-Cortez would speak right up in solidarity with Omar when asked if she considers the murderous Maduro regime legitimate.
I asked @AOC if the Maduro regime is legitimate.
"I defer to caucus leadership on how we navigate this," she says. https://t.co/sEn2PwiOoJ

What happened to, “I’m the boss!” She’s deferring to caucus leadership? Hmm.
Suddenly she doesn’t want to speak. Odd. https://t.co/GrtAxffURn
— EducatëdHillbilly™ (@RobProvince) May 2, 2019
That’s her whole thing. Wait.
— Charles C. W. Cooke (@charlescwcooke) May 2, 2019
But she's the boss, remember?
— The Weaponiz'd? (@WeaponizD1) May 2, 2019
Spoken like the true boss she is.
— Mudcat (@noblers144) May 2, 2019
When AOC admittedly defers to caucus leadership regarding Maduro leadership, she admits she has no clue about the world and is too lazy or incompetent to learn things.
— Camie Pickett (@ECPickett) May 2, 2019
She’s not the expert on these things, OK?
If AOC does not have her puppet masters notes and daily talking points, she is an empty vessel.

I'll know what I think once I'm told what I think.
— pcoastfool (@pcoastfool) May 2, 2019
Bold leadership
— ed (@eleventy17) May 2, 2019
Stunning and brave.
— Will Collier (@willcollier) May 2, 2019
Her social media can't really move the needle on something like this, sooooo…
— HappyinValley (@happyinvalley) May 2, 2019
I thought she was woke?
— AngryMVPFreak (@lammyleap) May 2, 2019
This is very serious, lives at risk & situation could become horrific very quickly. Cuba & Russia are heavily involved so every member of Congress needs to be up to date at all times.
— My Info (@wavedancer43) May 2, 2019
Does she know who Maduro is?
— Tish (@KittyCatGranny) May 2, 2019
Perhaps @AOC just didn’t understand the question ??♀️?
— Kim Cotter (@Kimariecotter1) May 2, 2019
She’s so fearless, what an inspiration.
— Ibis Rex (@IbisRex) May 2, 2019

Can’t have it both ways, but they will try.
— FreeNYer2016!?? (@FreeNYer2016) May 2, 2019
Absolutely cowardly answer
— JAC (@michcusejoe5) May 2, 2019
@AOC needs her talking points. Unless, of course, it’s for a mixed drink.
— RTirk (@RTirk) May 2, 2019
Was that seriously her answer?
— Stewby (@stewby_doo) May 2, 2019
When has she ever stepped back from voicing an opinion? But with this she doesn’t have anything to say?
— Ryann (@shrewdmagnolia) May 2, 2019
What I meant was I haven't talked to my staff about this to tell me what to think and say.
— Authoritaria Occasional-Cortex (@Kurvballs5) May 2, 2019
Surprised at her answer. She has an opinion on everything. #boss
— Big B (@blaubaugh) May 2, 2019
The Democrat talking point router must have been down. It probably overheated sending the "Impeach AG Barr" instructions.
— Funky Code Medina ✝️ (@spazafraz) May 2, 2019
— Jacki Vinson (@jackivinson) May 2, 2019
I thought she gave zero f***s about caucus leadership.
— El Jefe (@ElJefeTulum) May 2, 2019
Have a feeling Pelosi has put a muzzle on her.
— coco (@McQueenS44) May 2, 2019
Most of the other major democratic countries of the world recognize Juan Guiado as the legitimate leader of Venezuela, not Maduro. She readily accepts other countries positions on climate change, but lacks the courage or political maturity to state the obvious.
— Louis Lopez (@loucor75) May 2, 2019
First time she shuts her pie hole ?
— Seasal (@newsel411) May 2, 2019
This is unusual.
Normally tough talking, dancing, social media goddess @AOC from the Bronx weighs in on everything.
Now that she’s asked a simple opinionated question regarding a Socialist tyrant & she’s just a good little soldier awaiting instructions on her talking points.
— David Cole Grey (@greycole05) May 2, 2019
She is a coward and hypocrite
— Scout (@Scoutdomain) May 2, 2019
Yeah, she’s hiding from her previous support of the murdering dictator
— commonsense (@commonsense258) May 2, 2019
I thought AOC was "the boss?"
— AJ (@AK_ND9) May 2, 2019
Isn’t she going to stick with her “sisters” and oppose Trump’s coup attempt?
