'You kill them now or you kill them later': State rep has hot take on unwanted kids and abortion

Alabama State Rep. John Rogers thinks it’s up to a woman to decide what to do with her body, which isn’t a new position for a Democrat.

He doesn’t seem to hold out a lot of hope for those “unwanted” kids, though; if you don’t abort them they apparently end up in the electric chair anyway, so yeah, just abort them and save the hassle.

Or, just maybe, somebody does want that child and will give it love and keep it from death row.

Or maybe you just don’t want it.

Since Rogers is a Democrat, maybe he could explain why he’s helped create a world where the death penalty is where “unwanted” kids end up. What’s the point of Head Start and Pre-K and universal childcare if you can just kill them now and save the trouble.

We have a feeling his colleagues have learned to tune him out.
