We’ve told you before about Sleeping Giants, the leftist collective that puts out the order to boycott whatever it finds offensive that day, but we’d never heard of a company turning itself in to Sleeping Giants until Tuesday, but it looks like language software company Babbel thought it needed to atone for its ad running during Tucker Carlson’s top-rated Fox News show.
If you saw our ad on Tucker Carlson’s show, you’re right to be upset. We are too. While we did place our ad with Fox, we did not know it would air on a show so repugnant and at odds with our mission and values. We are blacklisting the show going forward. We are deeply sorry.

Doesn’t Babbel know it’s forbidden to advertise on Fox News in the first place?
How do I say “Screw you” in Italian?

Thanks for letting me know to avoid your company at all costs. I don’t do business with cowards.

Why are there are no Asians, Latinos or Native Americans in your Twitter header photo? Is that not at odds with your mission and values? To whom should I report you?
— 100 Proof (@ChampionCapua) April 30, 2019
A mission? … you’re not a holy or governing body … you sell language lessons … get over yourself

#RosettaStone to the rescue. @TuckerCarlson is outstanding. Keep up your #VirtueSignaling Babbel. Go advertise on some #progressive channel with poor ratings. Sad.

It’s clear you also think the millions of hard-working Americans who watch Tucker’s show are repugnant as well
This is a contemptible tweet, @BabbelUSA, and the disrespect you’ve shown conservatives will not be forgotten soon

Conservatives who are looking for a language learning app should check out @duolingo – which I have used and can vouch for!

Now you've given us all an outstanding model for "repugnant"
Also: "cowardly"

Looks like I’ll be “Blacklisting” this app from my phone.
— Ms. No?? (@Ms_NoItAll_) April 30, 2019
That was an easy app to delete.

You should be sorry. You've just alienated one of the largest TV audiences in the country. We'll never use your product, and we'll make sure none of our friends and/or family do, either. https://t.co/UHM9eN5Bik

In case you're looking to study a foreign language, you might wanna look for a company that doesn't think people who watch and enjoy @TuckerCarlson 's show are "repugnant."
This was an epically stupid marketing move, @BabbelUSA . https://t.co/XFdZ1xZ4Jm

I’ve never understood why corporations choose to push their personal politics on their customers when they don’t need to, which almost always ends up having a negative impact on their stockholders/investors bottom line by alienating half the country. Foolish business decision
— Jeff K. (@Jeffknowshouses) April 30, 2019
Did you think that anyone who saw the ad was (A) watching it because they agreed with the show, or (B) was a professional victim and looking for reasons to be “offended?”

The left highly values the right to association. https://t.co/6B0PkcF013

Bruh just worry about teaching people a new language. Exactly zero people care about your opinion on Tucker Carlson. https://t.co/vFb3nuP8MH

So now Babbel has alienated the Right and also pissed off the Left for advertising on Fox News in the first place … great work. Enjoy bowing to the mob.
