What’s really frightening isn’t this tweet, but the number of people responding and saying, “That’s really interesting, can you suggest some further reading?”
If it helps at all, the author, @queersocialism, describes themself in their Twitter bio as a gender non-conforming, Marxist, colonized subject.
heterosexuality does not exist without sexual and gendered coercion. there is no such thing as a heterosexuality that is not inherently coercive. there is no heterosexuality that does not reinforce structural oppression.
