No, this isn’t the Ruth Bader Ginsburg biopic “On the Basis of Sex” that was released in 2018, nor is it the documentary “RBG” that was released in 2018. It’s not even the Ruth Bader Ginsburg action figure released in 2018. For some people it’s been a month since there’s been a new Ruth Bader Ginsburg film, and CNN is correcting that error by re-airing its own film on the Supreme Court justice Saturday night.
But is it just us, or was whoever wrote this tweet seriously fangirling over Ginsburg? We know they have a film to promote, but come on:
She’s called the “Notorious RBG” for a reason. If you missed #RBGMovie, here’s your chance to see why fans are inspired and enthralled with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. RBG, a CNN film, Saturday at 8p ET pic.twitter.com/lsbnC3OAVn

“Here’s your chance to see why fans are inspired and enthralled”? Fans? So it’ll be a balanced, unbiased look at her politics, right?
Fanboi much?

For crying out loud, you're supposed to be a news organization. Act like professionals.

Hey, didn’t you used to be a legitimate news organization?
— Lewis P. (@_Sweet_Lew) January 9, 2019
This is not what news organizations do. https://t.co/nybhMagWOh

This is why you’re a joke. There’s literally nothing interesting about her. No major or impressive decisions written by her. She’s a solid leftist and that’s all you care about.

Nobody calls her Notorious RBG.
She's not a cool thing. She's never been a cool thing. She never will be cool thing. Stop trying to make her a cool thing. It's embarrassing. https://t.co/ifRR69mniG

Actually, the Associated Press referred to her as the Notorious RBG in a tweet in 2016:
Donald Trump wants Notorious RBG to resign from Supreme Court for criticizing him as unfit to be president: https://t.co/rGKOWUCDVc
