Maybe I make too much of it. But does feel like a fault line between political cultures. I loved Crenshaw's calm and cool reaction, refusal to fuel fires of divisiveness. So did most conservatives.
But AOC's base loves the way she swings at power structures (blindly, imho).

The difference is like night and day. Crenshaw is “self-confident” based on great humility and his past training and experience. AOC is “Arrogant” based on her using her newly appointed power and status to conceal her incredible incompetence.
