Can we just be done with Tom Arnold? Again? Just put him back wherever he was before he starting making up stories about having secret tapes of President Trump. We’ve never watched “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes with Tom Arnold” — how’s the hunt going? Did the Secret Service give him any clues while they questioned him?
As Twitchy has reported, Arnold’s recently been filling his free time trolling Chris and Dana Loesch on Twitter, although he won’t take Dana’s advice and report the NRA to the FBI as a terrorist organization, which he insists it is … and yet he does nothing. And in case you were wondering who knows more about guns — Loesch or Arnold — this next tweet should clear things up pretty quickly.
This explains why 80% of gun owners shoot themselves or members of their own families.

What now? Eighty percent of gun owners shoot themselves or a member of their family? Why isn’t this massacre on the news?

Where did this statistic come from??

He’s correct. Take into account around 64% of gun suicides by gun owners and accidental gun death by families who own firearms.

And then take into account the tens of millions of gun owners in the United States and realize you’re both full of crap because we don’t have millions of shootings each year.

With a population of 325 million, and 43% of them owning guns (140 million)…you’re implying 112 million of them have shot themselves or family members. Oh, I know…why confuse your rhetoric with the facts.

I know where you got your stats, @CNN and fact checked with @MSNBC right? #Classic

I think Tom has a crush on @DLoesch and is just trying to get her attention.

Tom I don’t own guns, my parents never owned guns so I’m not a gun person but what you just said was incredibly stupid. Basic math my friend

Are you mentally ill, stupid, or just a typical washed up lying celeb?

If 80% of gun owners shot themselves or members of their families, that'd be a minimum of 100 million casualties.
Nice to see that the blue checkmarks are on top of it, as usual.

Tom, I live in a rural area and I have carried a weapon legally 24/7/365 for many years. All my adult children do, and everyone I know does. I have never known anyone who shot a member of their family, themselves or had an accidental discharge. There is no such statistic.
— Jane-Alexandra Krehbiel/Author (@JaneAlxKrehbiel) December 1, 2018
I was just thinking the same thing. I've been around firearms and people who own firearms my entire life and haven't met one single person who shot themselves or a family member. I'm no spring chicken either….

Assuming you’re right, the campaign against gun rights can stand down and let things run their course. In no time at all, the few that survive will voluntarily disarm.

— Derek Sellers (@DerekLSellers) December 1, 2018
There are approximately 97,800,000 gun owners in the U.S. That would mean 78,240,000 suicides and / or family homicides.
You don't have much of your frontal cortex left, do you Tom? https://t.co/eaYLDxdogs
— FilmLadd (@FilmLadd) December 2, 2018
80% huh? So 4 out of 5 gun owners I know have or will shoot themselves or somebody else? So weird. I have owned guns and been around gun owners for 40 years & so far it's been 0%.
Oh, I bet you were embellishing to make a point, using your vast comedic skills and intellect.
— Irish Johnson (@ridin_philthy) December 1, 2018
Is this what people actually think? That’s shocking to be honest. Households that don’t have firearms are more likely to be incredibly ignorant about them in my experience
— Richard Derscha Jr. (@rderschajr) December 1, 2018
Wow. Maybe math isn’t your forte. If that were true, then your problem would eliminate itself … literally.
