If you spend any time on liberal Twitter like we do, you’ll see a lot of retweets, particularly by lefty celebs, of Sleeping Giants, the group that organized boycott campaigns against Breitbart and Laura Ingraham.
The Daily Caller News Foundation has unmasked the anonymous founder of Sleeping Giants, a San Francisco-based ad copywriter named Matt Rivitz.

We’d feel a little bit worse about spreading Rivitz’ identity except for the fact that, as The Daily Caller reports, his group “posted the name, position and email address of a Hulu vice president and encouraged its tens of thousands of followers to email her and demand that the streaming website boycott Ingraham’s show.”
The anonymous founder of Sleeping Giants—the leftist group that launched successful boycott campaigns against right-wing media figures like Laura Ingraham and boosted David Hogg's efforts—is revealed to be a major California ad exec. https://t.co/ttzSYr46zv

The group’s original stated goal was to cripple Breitbart, the pro-Trump website whose former chairman, Steve Bannon, worked in the White House as President Donald Trump’s chief strategist.
To accomplish that goal, Sleeping Giants has waged an intense campaign to pressure Breitbart’s advertisers into pulling their ads from the website. It’s worked pretty much as designed.
Breitbart lost 90 percent of its advertisers over the span of two months in 2017. Sleeping Giants has both maintained its pressure on Breitbart’s remaining advertisers and expanded its focus.

Part of that expanded focus was the campaign to pressure sponsors of Laura Ingraham’s show on Fox News, which was sparked when she said David Hogg was whining about being rejected by four colleges. Emboldened, Hogg later called for another boycott of Ingraham’s advertisers when she compared the illegal immigrant detention centers at the border to “summer camp.”
What a crappy way to compete—just pressure others to boycott the competition. In my language, we call that #ChickenShit.

Looks like @MattRivitz needs a boycott as well.

What advertising company? Can we get his personal email address?
— James Biever (@JamesBiever) July 17, 2018
Well, let's find out what agency he works for and the client list. I'm sure they'd be impressed

So what ad company does he work for and who are their clients?

Who are Matt Rivitz’ clients?

Someone actually did post a link showing the firm for which he works and their client list, but we’re not going to share it — we’re getting kind of tired of seeing both the Left and Right go after businesses … sometimes the same business.
And even though we don’t share our politics with Twitter’s CEO, we hate that he gets shamed for eating at Chick-fil-A one day during Pride Month. Let’s boycott boycotts for a little bit.
Did he hide because he didn't want it all to be about him? Or because he knows brand assassination is a sleazy business? Or was he just afraid of getting the tit for his tat?
