OH MY GOD THAT'S BRETT KAVANAUGH'S MUSIC

We all knew that it wouldn’t matter who Trump picked; progressives would already have their hit pieces ready, so let’s have a look at some of their reactions. Be ready for a lot of variations on “extreme” and “dangerous.”
Here’s Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand:
Judge Kavanaugh has applied an extreme and dangerous interpretation of the Second Amendment when determining whether a law is constitutional, one that does not take into account a law’s impact on public safety. https://t.co/xCEKwUQT7m
— Shannon Watts (@shannonrwatts) July 10, 2018
Judge Kavanaugh has made clear he would strike down prohibitions on the AR-15 and other assault-style weapons. In 2011, he dissented from a decision upholding Washington, D.C.’s prohibition on assault-style weapons and its requirement to register handguns.
— Shannon Watts (@shannonrwatts) July 10, 2018
The dissent put Kavanaugh at odds not only with the two other Republican-appointed judges on the court hearing the case, but also every other federal and state appeals court to address the issue.

President Trump vowed he’d never let the @NRA down, and with the Kavanaugh pick, he chose someone whose judicial record demonstrates a dangerous view of the Second Amendment that elevates gun rights over public safety. The Senate should vote down this nomination.#ScotusPick

Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s extreme outlier approach to the Second Amendment would put in jeopardy the full range of gun safety laws. Tell your senators to OPPOSE this Supreme Court nominee: https://t.co/TyQc6vJN78 #ScotusPick pic.twitter.com/upd8VD4jpR

Make no mistake – Trump promised to nominate someone who would overturn Roe v Wade.
He just made good on that threat.#SaveSCOTUS https://t.co/7TOExS3sKv

BREAKING: Donald Trump just announced anti-choice ideologue Brett Kavanaugh as his pick for the Supreme Court—and the fifth vote to overturn and gut #RoevWade, criminalize abortion and punish women. #SCOTUSPick #SaveSCOTUS pic.twitter.com/VP5aUeVT4b

And here are some other liberal blue-checks:
With Brett Kavanaugh as his SCOTUS pick, Mr. Trump is trying to force his repressive, bigoted agenda into our courts—and our lives. If confirmed, American citizens will hemorrhage basic rights, and corporations will have an open door for a hostile takeover.

BREAKING: Trump has nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. No one under investigation for conspiring against the US should ever be able to nominate anyone for anything ever. There should be #NoSCOTUSvote until after the November election. Let the people decide!

BREAKING: Trump just nominated Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court to replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy. Here's why you need to tell your senators to block this extreme nominee: (855) 999-1663 #SaveSCOTUS pic.twitter.com/jLF2OlXYAy

The #NAACP knows Brett Kavanaugh well. We opposed his nomination to DC Circuit. His tenure on bench was exactly as we predicted. He is strong and consistent vote for wealthy and powerful. He must NOT be elevated to the SCOTUS. #SaveSCOTUS #ScotusPick
— NAACP (@NAACP) July 10, 2018
President Trump's gross disconnect from so many Americans is evident in ways ranging from disparaging snubs—like his choice to consistently decline #NAACPconvention invitations to engage with citizens there as U.S. Presidents generally have,

And today, Trump’s detrimental choice of Judge Brett Kavanaugh as SCOTUS justice nominee trumpets his admin's racially-charged dismantling of legal fairness protections gained with #votingrights, #women #education, #LGBT and more #civilrights.??

Brett Kavanaugh spent 5 years in the Bush White House. He undoubtedly sent tens of thousands of emails. All of those are public record and Democrats and the media should demand that they be posted online like Elena Kagan's emails were.

Trump’s Supreme Court Justice nominee, Judge Kavanaugh, represents a direct and fundamental threat to the rights and health care of hundreds of millions of Americans. I will oppose his nomination to the Supreme Court. #SCOTUSpick

In selecting Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court, @realDonaldTrump has put reproductive rights and freedoms and health care protections for millions of Americans on the judicial chopping block. #WhatsAtStake #StopKavanaugh #ScotusPick pic.twitter.com/vUoVpJ6SHu

I will oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have, and I hope a bipartisan majority will do the same. The stakes are simply too high for anything less.

Republicans have broken precedent and made a mockery of the Senate by refusing to give Merrick Garland a hearing and by removing the need for 60 votes for Supreme Court justices. It’s time that the Senate holds this administration accountable by rejecting this extreme nominee.

On the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh would put in jeopardy many of the protections designed to keep Americans safe and free. From the Clean Air Act to marriage equality, Kavanaugh has sided against the American people time and time again. pic.twitter.com/StwQVIVcDx

.@realDonaldTrump wants to use the Supreme Court to undo what makes our country great. With his choice of Brett Kavanaugh, the Affordable Care Act is in danger. Voting rights and workers' rights are under threat. A woman's right to choose is on the line. #WhatsAtStake
— Mayor Bill de Blasio (@NYCMayor) July 10, 2018
President Trump just announced Brett Kavanaugh as his nominee to the Supreme Court. One thing’s already clear from his record: He can’t be trusted to safeguard rights for women, workers or to end the flow of corporate money to campaigns.
— Kirsten Gillibrand (@SenGillibrand) July 10, 2018
I stand by my pledge to vote no on President Trump’s nominee, because the American people deserve the opportunity to make their voices heard in November about this lifetime appointment.
— Kirsten Gillibrand (@SenGillibrand) July 10, 2018
Tell your senators to hold the line. Tell them to refuse to hold a hearing. Tell them not to confirm anyone until after the midterm elections – when we can recommend a bipartisan nominee. Call, and don’t stop calling. There’s too much at stake not to raise your voice right now.
— Kirsten Gillibrand (@SenGillibrand) July 10, 2018
Congratulations Judge Kavanaugh!
