There’s no reason to celebrate this new Gallup poll, which shows a record low number of Americans saying that they’re “extremely proud” to be Americans.
From Gallup: Just 47 percent in the U.S. say they're "extremely proud" to be Americans — a record low. Among Dems, it's just 32%, compared with 74% for Republicans. https://t.co/i5eGo5BfPV pic.twitter.com/hy4qUqN5bv

But check out that party-line split: less than a third of Democrats say they’re extremely proud to be Americans, compared to three-quarters of Republicans.
Obama made Democrats hate themselves. https://t.co/adLktBG6EC

Nah, it looks like it’s an absence of Obama that has them more ashamed to be Americans. Sure, he put children in cages and we had the photos to prove it, but at least the media kept reasonably quiet about it, so it was less shameful.
I am not proud of my country right now. I'm proud of some of my fellow humans in this country, but I cannot be proud of a country that gleefully and cruelly separates innocent children from their parents, either as hostages or never to reunite them. For example. https://t.co/mkKIY4uVOS

It's still so hard for me to understand how someone could be extremely proud of a country that puts babies in cages. As a matter of policy.

WOW! I can't understand why Republicans would be proud. They have destroyed everything Americans have fought and died for over the last 75 years.

I'm Green, not Republican nor Democrat, and I'm certainly not proud of this nation. Not even a little bit.

You probably should have asked Democrats when Obama was our President, & not waited until the Nazis took the office.

It's the reason I plaster my gear with red maple leafs when I travel to Europe.

We're embarrassed by Trump.

Oh well.
We’re continuously embarrassed by the DNC.

One should always be proud of their country, no matter who occupies the White House.

Remember Michelle Obama?
I hate relating national pride to politicians. Both sides do it, and it's awful…but expected. https://t.co/RbHj3dFck3

You can literally see the left collapsing in on itself with this graph. Farther and farther from rationale and reality.

Once the blue wave carries some Democratic Socialists into office to fix everything by eliminating profit and prisons and borders, we can all be proud Americans again.
