What a day it’s been for civility. Not that anyone needed her to, but Rep. Maxine Waters encouraged more people to harass members of the Trump administration in public: at department stores, at gas stations, wherever. Just start with chasing Kirstjen Nielsen out of a restaurant and then take it up a notch. Maybe even reminisce fondly about all of those domestic bombings in the ’70s.
We usually try to keep the focus on the blue-check brigade, but this post from the “very left-leaning” Andrew James Gregor is getting a lot of attention Monday.
I practiced #civility and they rolled back wildlife protections.
I was civil and they cut taxes for the rich
I was civil and they auctioned off public lands to oil companies.
I was civil and they put babies in cages.I'm done being civil. I'm coming with pliers and a blowtorch.

We could really end the post right there.
1) Obama put babies in cages.
2) The oil company thing is complete B.S.
3) Essentially you're saying violence is justified if government does things you don't agree with. You sure you want that to be the standard?

I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and for establishment democrats to realize there's a hysterically crucial election in 5 months and their base is screaming for political violence. https://t.co/y3jGMbHLF3

This doesn't make a lick of sense. Elections have consequences. Many of us din't like a damn thing Obama did but never thought about running his cabinet members out of movie theaters, restaurants or going to their homes to harass them! Grow the fuck up and win elections. https://t.co/KXMvx7c5Be

I was civil and they destroyed our healthcare.
I was civil and they raised our taxes.
I was civil and they threatened due process.
