Brian Stelter is CNN’s senior media correspondent, which is sort of a meta-position in which he reports on what CNN and other news outlets are reporting. But you, friends, have Twitchy, where we write about people like Stelter writing about the media.
As Twitchy reported, Tom Arnold was a guest with Poppy Harlow on CNN. Harlow’s question about whether Trump lawyer Michael Cohen is cooperating with the authorities was met with 17 seconds of dead air — which some clever person set to the music from “Jeopardy.”

That certainly was a trainwreck to most people, but to the programmers at CNN, it looks like they’ve found their new Stormy Daniels. That wasn’t the first time they’ve hosted Arnold recently; they also brought him on as an “expert” after his ex-wife Roseanne Barr lost her show over a nasty tweet … so they knew what they were getting this time around.
If Tom Arnold knows one thing, it's how to get attention… here's my story about his interview tour: https://t.co/XOzTgf2WQL https://t.co/l9rUVp0VIq

That's because the people giving him attention are marks. https://t.co/WCkqSfaxxZ

"Tom Arnold knows how to manipulate the media into giving him attention. Here's my story."

Here’s an idea — let’s not give Arnold any more airtime. He has his own show on VICE, apparently; let him do his schtick there.
You and your fellow-journalists were duped, Brian. Admit it!

CNN you know you hit rock bottom when you get scammed by Tom Arnold. The Democrats are in trouble when they look down their bench and the next guy up is Arnold.

I haven’t been this excited since Geraldo looked for Al Capone’s gold.

Looks like @CNN and @MSNBC are giving him the attention he wants …. it is ok though, it's not like I expect real news from either channel, just angry anti-Trump opinion host each trying to impress the Democrats more

It was a total joke. Shame on CNN for wasting air time on this tool and fool

If @CNN knows one thing, it's how to trash their own ratings putting lunatics on air and propagating #FakeNews.
— President Covfefe (@JTPaar) June 23, 2018
You mean he knows CNN has no ability to screen out nutcases and will give airtime to anyone who wants to bash POTUS. Yup.

Wow you’ve covered Tom Arnold more than the entire trial of Sen. Menendez.

If you just can’t get enough of Tom Arnold after his appearances on CNN and MSNBC, here’s a great clip in which he accuses Donald Trump of being a Russian asset and not even knowing it:
In an interview with @michaeljknowles, Tom Arnold becomes unhinged claiming Trump is a “Russian assett.”
When asked to cite evidence of a Trump-Russia collusion, Arnold draws a blank.
