Hey, did you know that former FBI director James Comey has a book coming out and will soon be everywhere promoting it? Stephen Colbert found it odd that there was another famous figure from the 2016 election who also went on a book tour but was told to stick to hiking around the woods in Chappaqua.
Funny how when James @Comey writes a book about the 2016 election and how he lost his dream job and drank wine nobody tells him to go walk in the woods and keep quiet.

Assuming that’s true … it’s a problem that was easily rectified by plenty of people who said they’d like Comey to go take a hike.

My man, about 80% of the country yells at their TV set every time Comey’s dopey face appears https://t.co/YZYrVMTHpA

Really? Seems like pretty much everybody is saying that to him. https://t.co/gV3KJ8LQGF

You'd literally have to be blind to miss the swaths of people that have told him to go away. Or a liar. https://t.co/vk8TzaUBXI

Nobody told Hillary to walk in the woods. Frankly that whole episode was weird on her part. https://t.co/XnveE9b1Uz

@Comey should go walk in the woods and keep quiet. https://t.co/4rQOpNnPEF

I know no one listens to me, but I am telling him to go walk in the woods and be loud so he gets eaten by a large forest animal https://t.co/48lERuhSM6

And don’t forget that it was the right-wing outlet Vanity Fair that suggested Hillary take up knitting rather than consider another run for office.
