CNN’s Jim Acosta is not the first person we’d normally go to for a “fact-check” of anything, and Tuesday night was no exception. Excerpts from President Trump’s State of the Union speech have gone out, and Acosta was already fact-checking Trump’s willingness to work across the aisle with Democrats.
Trump in SOTU excerpt released by WH: "I am extending an open hand to work with members of both parties." (Fact check: just last week Trump referred to "Cryin' Chuck Schumer") https://t.co/SWb9kA5bzs

This guy is ridiculous. https://t.co/co0X4YZiZQ

Yes, Trump did recently refer to Sen. Schumer as “Cryin’ Chuck” in a tweet.
Cryin’ Chuck Schumer fully understands, especially after his humiliating defeat, that if there is no Wall, there is no DACA. We must have safety and security, together with a strong Military, for our great people!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 24, 2018
He also had some pretty cordial meetings with “Chuck and Nancy” in the Oval Office, if we recall correctly.
Besides, speaking of working together, which party has several members boycotting the State of the Union address?
I don't think you know what a "fact check" is. https://t.co/gh4D2n2OCp

Thats a fact check? lmao.

What is the point of this commentary? We see Trump's behavior every day. @Acosta still seems to think he's going to catch Trump in some perfect contradiction that he can't recover from. Media keeps playing the dope. https://t.co/cuadV9VQjX

Chuck is a cryin' baby bitch, and that's a fact. You may not like it, but he's a lightweight pantywaist. Trump calling Chuck a cryin' baby bitch is a personal insult, not a ubiquitous insult against all Dems. https://t.co/S3rRHBl49y

Maybe if Schumer stopped crying he'd get some work done. https://t.co/rBH2qGl5ij

Fact check: It is actually Jim Acosta who is famous for crying. https://t.co/KSLWdYMQiT

Fact Check:@POTUS is not a punching bag.
He can lash out against those who deserve it.
You and @SenSchumer are on that long list.
