Media fight! CNN not amused by BuzzFeed's parody of its fruity #FactsFirst ad

As Twitchy reported, CNN this week rolled out a new #FactsFirst campaign featuring a spot explaining the difference between an apple (or a “fact”) and a banana (not a fact). Here it is again if you missed it:

BuzzFeed News tried to have some fun with CNN, producing its own parody:

OK, not the funniest bit we’ve seen, but it would be tough to top CNN’s original for comedic value. CNN’s Dylan Byers didn’t seem to see the humor, though, going right for the ratings jugular. Guess he didn’t see the … appeal.

Come on, now … CNN must have known its stupid fruit ad was going to be ripe for parody.
