It's happening? Mark Zuckerberg hires Clinton campaign's chief strategist as a consultant

Just because he’s traveling across America on a quest to meet someone from every state and occasionally drop in for dinner and a chat, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg isn’t running for president — it’s just a personal challenge he set for himself.

So there’s no reason to think Zuckerberg is planning a run in 2020 just because he’s hired as a consultant Democratic pollster Joel Benenson, who advised President Obama and was a chief strategist of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. Benenson reportedly is going to help Zuckerberg and his wife with their philanthropy.

Oh, and Politico also notes that Zuckerberg and his wife in January hired David Plouffe, Barack Obama’s campaign manager in 2008; they’ve also hired Amy Dudley, a former communications adviser to vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine.

It would be, if Zuckerberg were running. But he’s still busy with Facebook.
