That old joke of reading Playboy for the articles? CNN is now reviewing Playboy videos from the 1990s including appearances by Donald Trump, and the most shocking aspect of the story is the possibility that someone was able to track down a working VHS videocassette player in 2016.

Before reaching for that jug of eye bleach left over from that topless photo of Alex Jones on horseback, know that “the scenes featuring Trump do not contain nudity or sexually explicit content.” The two, um, new Playboy videos obtained by CNN make three so far that include appearances by Trump.
My first story for @CNNPolitics, Trump took Polaroids, interviewed models in an erotic 1994 Playboy video https://t.co/C2nOE3xhOV
— andrew kaczynski (@KFILE) October 5, 2016
Fair enough. The tapes also include some erotic material, but that hardly sets them apart from the print publication, which prudish conservatives have been told for decades is highly respected for its interviews. Jimmy Carter was interviewed back in the day, and more recent interviewees include, as recently as this year, Rachel Maddow. (Full disclosure: that’s according to a Google search — Twitchy’s subscription lapsed years ago.)
Heck, even the late Helen Thomas appeared in the pages of Playboy at age 89 — drop that bomb on your friends sometime. But for now, let the shock of Trump appearing in several Playboy videos sink in. Is it sinking?

Are there even any prudes left? Weren’t they all lectured out of existence over the last half-century?

— Farmer's Daughter (@TobyandMel) October 5, 2016
Considering some university students kicked off the school year by handing out sex toys to wave around campus in a protest against concealed carry laws, millennials are likely to be most offended by the poor picture quality of some glossy ’90s sleeze, not the content.
@KFILE @CNNPolitics this makes him 10x cooler #YouGoofed

@KFILE @CNNPolitics Who really cares! @realDonaldTrump was a PRIVATE CITIZEN! @billclinton was POTUS when he acted like this; continues! Lol
— Robin (@LilBirdCreates) October 5, 2016
Wait, what’s this about Bill Clinton? Did something happen in the ’90s? He skipped over that bit in his speech at the Democratic National Convention.
@KFILE @PaulBegala And what was Hillary doing at this point in her career?
