Though former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has continually presented her 13 hours of testimony on Benghazi as proof that there’s no there there, Judicial Watch today reports that phone transcripts between Clinton and foreign leaders show once again that she and the administration were fully aware that the deadly terrorist attack that killed four Americans was coordinated in advance.

As far back as April 2014, Judicial Watch managed to obtain an email from Sept. 14, 2012, explicitly showing the administration’s coordinated communications effort “to underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of policy.” Another State Department email sent as the attack was ongoing revealed that the White House was “reaching out to U-Tube to advice ramification of the posting of the Pastor Jon video” (which would be swapped out in favor of the Nakoula Basseley Nakoula video, “The Innocence of Muslims”).

The newly received telephone transcripts, which Judicial Watch has posted as a PDF, show Clinton calling Egypt’s prime minister Sept. 12 and telling him, “We know that the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack — not a protest.”

Judicial Watch reports:

At 10:08 p.m. on September 11, Mrs. Clinton issued an official State Department press statement, approved by the White House, placing the blame for the attack on an Internet video …

Yet the next day, in her 7:49 PM September 12 conversation with [then-Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham] Kandil, Clinton said, “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack – not a protest.” Kandil responded, “You’re not kidding. Based on the information we saw today we believe that group that claimed responsibility for this is affiliated with al-Qaeda.”

On September 15, in a telephone call with then-Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Amr, Clinton emphatically portrayed the “stupid, very offensive film” as the root cause of the Benghazi violence.
