Why yes, yes she did.
Why was YouTube sensation Rebecca Black trending on Saturday? Because of “Saturday,” a follow up to her infamous “Friday.” Would you believe Black issued four singles between “Friday” and “Saturday”? Those were an effort to distance herself from her first effort, but the video for “Saturday” includes plenty of callbacks to the earlier song, which taught us all that Sunday is what comes after Saturday.
“Saturday” is certainly a more polished affair, with some judicious Auto-Tune and a little bit of twerking thrown in to keep things contemporary.
Rebecca Black walked into a house party as a kid Friday, and emerged a hungover, less interesting adult on Saturday.

That thing where you see Rebecca Black trending & you joke to yourself, "Did she release a song called Saturday?" & LEARN SHE ACTUALLY DID.

The only thing I got from Rebecca Black's new song "Saturday" is that she ditched her original friends. What a B. pic.twitter.com/plyQL7ldhI

Rebecca Black's next song will be "Sunday" and it will be about praying to Jesus for forgiveness for making "Friday" and "Saturday."
