KTVU is reporting that a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer and three police officers have been injured in two shootouts with a suspect in Roseville, Calif.

The suspect was identified as 23-year-old parolee Samuel Duran. He was described as an armed Hispanic man with a shaved head and mustache wearing a dark colored beanie, grey short-sleeved shirt and white pants.

One officer was shot in shoulder, the second was shot in the jaw while the third was hit by bullet shrapnel. Of those officers, one was in serious condition and the other two were stable.

According to CBS Sacramento, Duran has been locked down for several hours in a house at 6th Street and Hampton.

ICE spokesperson Virginia Kice provided a statement Friday night:
A special agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) was shot Friday afternoon shortly after 3 p.m. while conducting a joint enforcement action with investigators from the police department in Roseville, Calif. The special agent was rushed to a local hospital where he is now reported to be stable and alert. Additional HSI agents are en route to the incident scene and will be assisting the Roseville Police Department with the ongoing investigation.

Suspect Sammy Duran reportedly surrendered after a nine-hour standoff and was taken into police custody.

Earlier reports suggested the suspect was 23 years old. He is now thought to be 32.
