The Twitter feed of Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, is a reliable drip of undiluted liberal advocacy, so it’s no surprise that Weingarten is pressing for the Justice Department to investigate George Zimmerman, despite his acquittal Saturday.
Weingarten today issued a statement on the verdict saying that while the trial in Sanford, Fla., dealt with the legal implications of the shooting, it failed to address the important moral issues involved. So why not hand it over to Attorney General Eric Holder’s Justice Department?
Here's my statement on G Zimmerman's aquittal.Every child matters.I pray for peace & strength of Trayvon's parents: http://t.co/esW3p4uR3e

Weingarten concludes that the “disposition of this case is the antithesis of what we teach our children in school — that the law protects innocent victims and that no one has the right to take the law into his or her own hands. Everyone’s child matters.”
Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren schooled Weingarten on her claim that justice wasn’t served in the courtroom.
@rweingarten both sides picked the jury, both sides agreed to the jury, both sides presented evidence, pros not even say trial was unfair
