He did his best, but MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough just wasn’t able to make universal background checks happen, despite inviting Vice President Joe Biden to appear on “Morning Joe” and repeat the administration’s bogus numbers on firearms purchases (not to mention some more nonsense about shotgun safety). What else is a gun control lobbyist — erm, journalist — supposed to do?
We don’t know what Scarborough’s plan is, aside from expressing his disgust with the Senate, but he assures us that “we” will get criminal background checks.
