FCC Commissioner notes that Facebook decided to censor the Hunter Biden story before it was fact-checked

As Twitchy reported earlier, a Facebook employee who just happened to work previously for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Sen. Barbara Boxer, and presidential candidate John Kerry announced that he would not be linking to the New York Post’s piece on Hunter Biden’s recovered emails, in part because the story hadn’t yet been fact-checked by Facebook’s third-party fact-checking partners. Furthermore, Facebook would be “reducing its distribution.”

Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr noted what a lot of us did — this seemed to be the first time Facebook decided it had to fact-check an article before allowing it to be distributed on its platform.
