The law firm Covington & Burling, LLP (of which Eric Holder is a partner) has reportedly filed a motion to correct an error made as a result of a “miscommunication” — by submitting some 6,800 documents and emails that were not previously produced to Flynn when he was a client.
#FLYNN Covington (former attorneys) just filed motion to submit more case files to Flynn’s current lawyers after “correcting the error made as a result of the miscommunication…This effort yielded…approx. 6,800 documents and emails (including attachments) @CBSNews @RobLegare pic.twitter.com/fYKIEi4LOi

Huh.
After Covington, law firm that Flynn fired for ineffective counsel and unwaivable conflicts of interest, disclosed that it had just "discovered" 6,800 documents it failed to disclose to Flynn, the judge in the case ordered the firm to re-search ALL files. Not good, Covington. pic.twitter.com/ecjoYz9MN2

New Flynn filing:
Flynn's prior lawyers have found "approximately 6,800 documents and emails" that were not previously produced to Flynn and @SidneyPowell1

Can we recap? Covington withheld relevant information from its client; Covington wrongly advised Flynn that he had no defenses; Covington agreed with the DOJ to hide the truth of the DOJ's extortion in a side agreement. Sue Covington into bankruptcy. Disbar the lawyers.

They need to start by refunding him every penny they charged him for this “defense”. Then we can decide what other remedies are appropriate.

For the LSAT being so tough, these lawyers sure are stupid. Hmm… ?

I’d be fired, disbarred, and jailed if I pulled this crap.
No excuse. Cross-examine the shit out of anyone who tries to come up with one, particularly in an affidavit
— Stanch 24/7 (@Stanch247) April 28, 2020
I feel a sanction coming on.
— Gran (@GranTweets2) April 28, 2020
I hope I see a massive law suit coming. Flynn should be a multimillionaire and his family well provided for after this one.
— Dan Newcomb (@DanNewcomb1) April 28, 2020
Some Covington attorneys and IT staff are going to have a very, very long week.
— Quarantiney (@Quarantiney1) April 28, 2020
Not really immersed in the nuances of disbarment, but good grief, if there was ever a case for cleaning house, here it is. This is one of the biggest travesties of justice ever…

Interesting how these were just found after the DOJ coughed up materials it was improperly holding. Want to bet those included emails to this firm? Let’s see if heads roll from this firm and if it complies with its obligations to report those responsible.

Can you say malpractice?
— TC Loughery ?? (@gingerloughery) April 28, 2020
Way beyond malpractice here.

Can each lawyer be sued into oblivion, individually?

We live in #ClownWorld.
— son of a farmer (@skycult) April 28, 2020
I’m sure it was an honest mistake. ?
— Lee Whitney (@LeeWhitneyHayek) April 28, 2020
They "discovered" documents recently discovered by Durham, is that right?
— Sandy 〽️ (@RightGlockMom) April 28, 2020
“Miscommunication” ??
— AARON MINTZ (@A1MINTZ) April 28, 2020
I hope he sues them and takes possession of their law firm.

These former lawyers need to be disbarred from ever practicing law ever again. Disgraceful
— OG Trump Supporter (@theGearStar) April 28, 2020
For life.
— Paul Yohanan (@PaulYohanan) April 28, 2020
Miscommunication is doing some heavy lifting in their excuse.
— Douglas (@DouglasShrugged) April 28, 2020
How surprising the lawyers weren’t aware of any “miscommunication” before Barr get involved.
— PayAttention (@AttensionPay) April 28, 2020
I'd like to know who made this "error" which put General Flynn's freedom in jeopardy.
— Acquitted Covfefe (@zoochum) April 28, 2020
Can someone tell me why the error is always against the Trump and his people??
— Jersey Pride Patriots ❌ (@JerseyPatriots) April 28, 2020
So basically the law firm is jumping the sinking ship and hoping AG Barr will save them from their deceit?
— Barbara Harris (@bjhjsh) April 28, 2020
Sounds about right.???

…and justice is where?
— MrR (@jrich5602122) April 28, 2020
Hopefully somewhere in sight … hopefully before November, just in case.
Burn it all down. This is the most egregious behavior by our federal government and their apparatchiks I’ve ever seen. This law firm is one of their many enablers.
