We can never tell now whether Twitter’s No. 1 liberal hack Brian Stelter is watching Fox News as part of his job as some sort of media reporter or if he’s doing research for his upcoming book on Fox News. In either case, he’s alerting the world that the president is going to sit down Monday night with Fox Business host Trish Regan, who averages only a quarter of a million viewers a night. That’s playing to his base, we guess.
This is what a president playing to his Fox base looks like:
Tonight Trump is sitting down with Fox Biz host Trish Regan, who averages 250,000 viewers a night.

Oh no. You better stop him.
— Steve (@SNitzsche7) February 10, 2020
I'm so sorry this is happening to you
— Mead (@SOTMead) February 11, 2020
Human potato upset the President would speak to someone working for a company he wants to destroy. https://t.co/VnsJS3VGf4

Your jealously is evident…@GOPLeader
— Jack Banker (@Jabanker) February 11, 2020
Awwwww…..sounds like someone is feeling a lil jealous. 😭😂

I see the green-eyed monster.
— Ben Peterson (@jazzfan71) February 11, 2020
Bro you want to work for FOX so bad 🤣
— Socialism blows (@socialismblows_) February 10, 2020
Your obsession with Fox is hysterical.
— Dirk Johnson (@DirkJohnson15) February 11, 2020
Tell us more about CNN ratings please
— MichaelFCheng (@smugminion215) February 10, 2020
Stelter dreams that one day CNN might have viewership again.
— Teddy Obermann (@ObermannTeddy) February 11, 2020
That is a self own if I’ve ever seen one
— Gerald Garner (@lovesosa01) February 11, 2020
Imagine @brianstelter viewership-shaming others…

You're like in last place, Brian. And you'd kill to have him on your "show".
— Dave Whitman (@DaveWhitman) February 10, 2020
She’s awesome and has more viewers than you. Real viewers, not hostages at airports.
— AJ (@SBSportsDiva) February 11, 2020
She's a real journalist. CNN could use a few.
— Tom Muck (@tommuck1961) February 11, 2020
A President trying to keep his base excited – I’m shocked and horrified. Another example of Trump destroying every norm in American politics.
I’m thankful we have vigilant independent journalists like Brian who brings these misdeeds to light.
— Brian (@KauffBrian) February 11, 2020
I want to feel, well, ANY empathetic type of emotion with this really, but you are going to have to give me more to work with before I can even vaguely care why this is even remotely tweet worthy.
— Politically Agnostic Boomer Human Scum (@joeleyare) February 11, 2020
Trish didn't have to settle a multi-million dollar lawsuit with a teenager for ruining his life with fake news.
— Cajun❤Loves 🇺🇸Trump🇺🇸 (@Cajunlovestrump) February 11, 2020
Well, I guess that answers why he doesn't do your show.
— Dog guy (@Catsorange1) February 11, 2020
So he should not sit down with anyone unless they have more viewers? I guess he should go on @cnn if he wants to reduce the amount of viewers watching.
— The Alt-Middle (@thealtmiddlenet) February 10, 2020
So it’s ~1/3 the audience of @ChrisCuomo
— Comfortably Belligerent (@ComfortablyBel1) February 10, 2020
What’s your point Brian? Did you want to host him?
— Nota Chance (@comingforyouBob) February 11, 2020
Maybe Trump should do your show. Where in the top fifty do you rank?
— B. Steve White (@bstevewhite) February 11, 2020
Wow! 250K! That's less than half the population of South Bend, Indiana. Maybe she should run for president 😂
— fleen (@KcfleenOlivas) February 11, 2020
Thanks for watching, I’ll flip over there. 😘
— Tom Turk 🍢📸🎥 (@Piratical_Turk) February 11, 2020
Brian, I'm rushing home to watch Tucker. Any way you can let us know what's on the show tonight?

I detest Trump but you deserve the ratio for this tweet.
— CLT704 (@CLT_704) February 11, 2020
Seems like something kinda newsy happened in Jacksonville over the weekend. Know anything about that, sport?
— MoxNix (@darktower44) February 11, 2020
Hey. I think somebody drove a van into a RNC registration tent in Florida over the weekend. Seems newsy.
— killroy (@Killroynase) February 10, 2020
The only way Stelter would know about that is if he saw it on Fox News.
