Trump in DC was trending on Twitter and Valerie Bertinelli decided to take that trend opportunity and turn it into a discussion about the recent abortion ruling by SCOTUS. Many decided to take the opportunity to advise her that abortions were not eliminated, the decisions for restrictions were simply moved to each state.

Now, this is where it gets fun. Valerie used to be on a show called One Day At A Time. She has always been sort of an ‘American Sweetheart’ but another vintage TV show icon stepped in to take her to school. None other than John Schneider who was Bo Duke on Dukes of Hazzard took the wind out of her sails, but honestly, it was a very polite correction for Twitter.
You should consider not passing false information to your Fanbase. This decision has been put back in the hands of the individual states. States rights are of the upmost importance and they have been validated in this area once again. It’s not illegal and has not been attacked.

This point should be stressed more often. Democrats had majorities and the presidency many times over the years. They pushed through Obamacare, why did they not push through a law codifying abortion? The answer is actually simple: they like using abortion to drive people to the polls and if they had codified it, they would not be able to scream about it every November. #Facts

So, as you can see, a lot of people are more informed about the abortion ruling than Valerie, which is kind of sad. She could be using her influence to educate people rather than lie about something to further the leftist agenda. Oh well, we should all be used to this by now, but it is still annoying each time we see it.
Try talking to John Schneider BEFORE you tweet something so misinformed next time Valerie. 🙂
