Your Betters Have Spoken: 'Let Them Eat Bugs'

There was a time when being an Ivy League graduate meant something. It meant you had a world-class education, were from the upper echelons of society, and someone worthy of respect and admiration.

Now it's a sign you've spent way too much money to be indoctrinated into Leftist nonsense and are completely out of touch with average Americans.

Oh, and you might be a little bit of a fascist.

This poll is demonstrative of those principles:

89% of rich, spoiled, privileged jerks think people like you and I should live a far lower quality of life so they feel better about saving the planet. This is a common theme among the environmental, communistic Left: turning us into serfs. Bill Nye said as much back in June, and yesterday I told you about the PhD student who wants us to go back to washing clothing by hand and eating in communal kitchens.

These are a dangerous, unserious people who seek to create -- as all communists do -- a world of two classes: the privileged class consisting of themselves, and the poor underclass, dependent on their benevolence for the basic necessities of daily living.

No we cannot.

There is not a world in which the 89% of Ivy League grads go without gas, meat, or electricity. They will continue living their lives the way they always have been while the rest of us suffer.

And, as I've written elsewhere, we're always only nine meals away from anarchy.

What do they -- the crowd who get offended and hurt when you use the wrong pronouns -- think will happen when they tell us we have to stop eating meat (one of the most nutrient dense foodstuffs), or sweat in the middle of the July heat, or freeze to death at Christmas?

Do they think the plebes will just sit idly by and let it happen?

No. There's a line, and the patience of the people has been tested time and again.

From inflation to rising crime to unfettered illegal immigration, we are getting fed up.

We watched as our political betters let their preferred political groups burn major cities in the summer of 2020 while COVID lockdowns meant the rest of us couldn't celebrate weddings or graduations or hold funerals. We all know it.

Eventually, we will have had enough.

It absolutely is. This is how you get incredible, massive levels of civil unrest.

Undoubtedly, the elites think they'll be the ones in charge of rationing and that their preferred political party will always be at the helm.

They could not be more mistaken.

You would think that during their four years at Harvard or Yale or wherever, they'd have bothered to crack a history book and realize very bad things happen to the self-proclaimed elite class of people who oppress the masses for the 'greater good'.

It never ends well for them. And it won't end well for these Ivy League graduates.
