Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney took some time this evening to shoot the breeze with the press corps on his campaign plane, hours after the debunked Wawa controversy.
He talked about the airplane:
Romney continues to be surprised by nice campaign travel digs. Jokes to reporters that this plane "must have been paid for by the AP"

He's right in that its a gorgeous plane. Flight attendant says they flew U2 on US tour, and the Boston Bruins during NHL season. #Embedlife

What an electoral victory in Michigan would mean:

And, most bizarrely, the trees:
Romney tells his press corps to be sure to look around when we land in Michigan and we'll see "the trees are the right height."

The Romney campaign has been famously tight-lipped around reporters, even going so far as to turn the music up when Romney’s on the rope line shaking hands with the audience so the press doesn’t overhear any potentially embarrassing exchanges. Naturally, the reporters were curious to know more about what happens on the rope line and Romney indulged them with a little playful banter:
The press corps calls it the ropeline, but Romney tells us to him its the "advice line" where lately he hears a lot about #Veepstakes

Guess what’s said on the rope line, stays on the rope line. At least for now.
