California Governor Jerry Brown isn’t impressed with Rick Perry’s new radio ad, in which Perry tells Californian listeners how much nicer things are in Texas. However, in responding to the relatively meager airtime Perry purchased, Brown may have given Golden State residents another reason to flee.
“It’s not a serious story, guys,” the Californian Democrat told reporters at a business event, the Sacramento Bee reported Tuesday. “It’s not a burp. It’s barely a fart.”
It must be so nice for the people of California to know that they have such a classy governor — who doesn’t think twice about using the word “fart” in front of the media.
Pity New York Times reporter Adam Nagourney, who says he won’t be able to write about Brown’s comment:
Guessing I can't use Jerry Brown response to Rick Perry ads bashing Calif taxes in NYT? "Not a story. It's not a burp. It's barely a fart."

Maybe if he translates Brown’s remarks to Latin?
@kyamamura @thewyatt "Ne quidem ructo, suus 'vix a bumbulum"

@SovernNation I'm afraid a fart in Latin is still a fart.

Oh, that’s too bad.
