So ‘Just Stop Oil’ is that environmentalist nutbag group that has been defacing priceless works of art because they have oil paint in them, even though the oil in those paintings is not actually petroleum, because environmentalists are really, really stupid. To give an example of their stupidity:

So, they decided to increase their unlikability by blocking traffic in London, which is par for the course for modern leftists. But in this video, the behavior includes an ugly new wrinkle:
Amazing how quick the police are to respond when one of their precious climate loon pals is prevented from obstructing his majesty’s highway by the public.
If they did their job, without fear or favour, the public wouldn’t have to step in.
Disgraceful.
— Laurence Fox 💙 🇺🇦 🇪🇺 🌹 🏴☠️ (@LozzaFox) May 23, 2023
As Mr. Fox points out the police were right there, but instead of removing these people and letting everyone else get on with their lives, they stood around and did nothing. It was only when a normal citizen tried to stop the protesters from blocking everyone else, that the police decided to intervene.
More details were provided by this Yahoo News report:
A workman was filmed shoving a Just Stop Oil protester to the ground right before police detained him https://t.co/Rrsq0vIAKE

They claim there were no arrests, but that sure looked like an arrest to us. In any case, this was originally posted by the nutbag environmentalists themselves:
This is an impossible situation.
Do we disrupt other ordinary people, like this man, arrested for lashing out today, or just sit back and watch everything burn?
That's where our government has left us. More and more people are realising taking action is the right thing to do. pic.twitter.com/hMm3Wxu0tY
— Just Stop Oil (@JustStop_Oil) May 23, 2023
They are pretending to show regret, but one can’t help but feel the real purpose of posting this video is to taunt the public: ‘The police are on our side, and against you’ appears to be the real message they want to send. Whether Londoners want to keep a government that behaves like this is their business, we suppose.
But let the dragging begin!
why dont you go plant some trees instead?

So stopping people from getting to work is the solution ? Really. ?

Everyone must be arrested and thrown into prison for stopping others to earn their living 😡

To answer your question @JustStop_Oil, you are sitting back and watching everything burn because you are too cowardly to do this in China.
— Ian Morgan-Smith (@IanMorganSmith) May 23, 2023
They make a good point. Most environmental proposals tend to let China pollute as much as they want. So, under the principle of cui bono, one really has to wonder how much China is funding western environmentalists.
The Germans have got the right idea… https://t.co/cZYffqxt46

Arrested for doing what @metpoliceuk should be doing. Unbelievable. https://t.co/lJoOhdAj3j

The world isn’t burning. There is no climate emergency.
Stop ruining everyone’s lives with your endless and always unfulfilled predictions of climate collapse.
We should have left the Doomsday cultists back in the Middle Ages. https://t.co/47c3VVbrVF

Can we find out who this builder is, pay any legal fees he incurs, buy him a pint? https://t.co/GBSzZLMnFw
— Alex Dale (@typofoto) May 23, 2023
This is a simple situation. Get out of the road.
You're illegally blocking the highways.
You don't need to keep signalling to us that the ridiculous police force are on side with you astroturfed useful stooges of the state.
We know.
Everyone knows.
Just stop it. https://t.co/bcEsqxA9j6

Not impossible—get a bloody job instead of harassing hard-working people trying to put food on the table. https://t.co/pfo7Bu1xix

Street justice may replace the rule of law when it fails.
— Jan Järvlepp (@JanJarv) May 23, 2023
Sooner or later, police officers who ignore the law (obstruction of a public highway) and attack citizens who they force by their inaction to take action, will be seriously injured by a public driven, finally, to violence against injustice and police behavior ultra vires. https://t.co/jPTLgAb1Cb
— Hubert Wagner (@HDMW18) May 23, 2023
And that is the danger when the police don’t enforce the law.
Whenever there is trouble we can always count on the police to arrest the good guys.

The @metpoliceuk is a political tool of the regime.

So now they just pick and choose when to use their “new” powers? Protesters at the coronation were fair game, but this lot aren’t?
— LGB Republic (@Lgb_Republic) May 23, 2023
Yes, during the coronation of Charles III, some apparently peaceful protesters were arrested simply for protesting:
A number of anti-monarchy protesters from the group Republic were arrested at a demonstration in London that took place on the day of King Charles III's coronation. Graham Smith, the group's leader, was among those arrested. https://t.co/zrKWve0liI pic.twitter.com/fFxgOORvbc

Every now and then, Britain reminds us to be glad we broke away from them.
