The only thing Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar may hate more than Jews is being asked to answer for her hating Jews.
In addition to literally running away from a question about her support for the BDS movement, Omar attempted to artfully dodge a piece by Jonathan Tobin suggesting that Democrats need to speak out against her anti-Semitism:
This article is part of a coordinated attack against @IlhanMN and @RashidaTlaib under the pretext of fighting anti-semitism. It must be resisted and exposed for what it is: racist, misogynist, partisan politics. https://t.co/xoPIyfxZU8

My sister Rashida and I have been fighting against Anti-semitism, any effort to deny that is a smear.
We are pro-peace and realize without justice there is no peace!
Our domestic policy values need to be aligned with our foreign policy values. No exceptions! https://t.co/fKO5eYu8gb

And if you believe Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib “have been fighting against anti-Semitism,” well, we’ve got a bridge in Gaza to sell you.
Lies.

Fact check: You’re an anti-Semite. https://t.co/c0uNTnc1LJ

Of course she is. Which is what makes her so appealing to Glenn Greenwald:
It's now well-known that being a steadfast defender of Palestinian rights & critic of Israeli aggression automatically subjects one to frivolous charges of anti-Semitism, especially when the person is Muslim. Great to see @IlhanMN & @RashidaTlaib not being bullied by this tactic: https://t.co/p1yPv9C1bS

Ladies and gentlemen, what we have here is a full-blown anti-Semite love-fest:
Isn’t that special?

It would almost be sweet if it weren’t so nauseating and, you know, brazenly defensive of anti-Semitism.
OK, so if you really mean that, you'll give equal time and attention to all the other human rights abuses in the world. This singling-out of Israel is the reason why I suspect anti-Semitism is a factor. Also: Hamas and the PA use "Zionist" and "Jew" interchangeably.

No, but writing letters of support for Americans who joined ISIS, refusing to condemn anti-semitism, and accusing Israel of "hypnotizing" the world is pretty clearly anti-semitic.
— Foggy Anabasis (@foggyanabasis) February 5, 2019
Uhhh, yea. She’s been pretty blatant. Clearly anti Semitic in several instances.

Have ever condemn Palestinian terrorism with the same zeal you condemn Israel? Clearly not. You sir are an antisemite plain and simple.

They, like yourself, deny Israel's right to exist. You'd prefer to be thrown off of a building by Hamas for being gay than acknowledge Israel's right to exist. Y'all are an anti-Semitic trio.

She has said terrible things specifically towards Israel and her citizens. It has nothing to do with her religion. You said that. Nobody else has. Show some integrity sir

Integrity? It’s way too late for that.
