Oh, dear. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? “A person who is extremely full of themselves and overestimates their abilities”; who on earth could that be?

Some Twitter users recognize the behavior.

Buzz kill!

Er. It’s not really a compliment. But, of course, a megalomaniac would see it as one, wouldn’t he? Mind. Blown!

The definition seems to fit one man in particularly. If the presidential megalomaniac shoe fits …

  • Bob Smooper

He is a bit full of himself, that’s for sure. But he won! There is a saying in sport: winners are grinners.

    • lainer51

a “bit” full of himself? How about full-blown?

      • Jim Denney

You have him confused with the other “first black president.”

        • lainer51

          LOL – got it!

      • TocksNedlog

To say that Obama is “a BIT full of himself” is like saying that Kanye only crashed all of those awards presentations just to demand that he be left alone.

        • Bob Smooper

Okay okay! He is REALLLLLY full of himself. But he is kicking the repubs butts so he should be. He knows he has had a great year – even with a bad economy, high gas, opponent with business experience, Obamacare, Beghazi, etc etc – he still won!

          • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

I’m guessing you voted for him. Did you read what you typed? Do you hate this country that much?

          • Bob Smooper

No, I am illegible to vote: I am a felon, I am clinically insane, and I am an illegal! Also I am from England which kind of disqualifies me.

          • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

None of those things disqualify you to vote for a Democrat in America. In fact, you could probably earn some money or drugs from them to do so.

          • Bob Smooper

If I could vote, I would have voted for Obama.

          • lainer51

no kidding…. wow, what a revelation… who would have guessed?

          • Jarhead83

You left out one thing…you’re an ass.

          • c2

Two things. He’s an ass, and a fool.

          • mhojai

Not for this administration, you’re just the type of idiot they’re looking for!

          • TocksNedlog

Great! He experiences the thrill of victory, while our nation suffers the agony of defeat.

          • Teresa Davis McCormick

It’s spelled Bengazi. But I can see how you wouldn’t know that since they didn’t mention it much on CNN.

          • CherDash

          • Teresa Davis McCormick

            lol. ;P

          • mhojai

Do you imagine that’s a tribute to him, or an indictment against the abject stupidity of the parasites that voted for him and the media that covered for him. He’s been carried every step of his worthless existence!

          • c2

This is evidence of how sick our country has become. It’s nothing to be bragging about.

A bit full of himself? He gets an erection lasting lasting longer than 4 hours every time he sees himself in a mirror…..

    • JustLikeAnimals

I’d say he’s more full of shit than he is of himself.

    • TexSizzle

A person all wrapped up in himself makes a very small package.

      • Renee Cain-Rojo

Small package? Didn’t you hear Biden says he has a big stick? Biden would know because he sucks it every night.

Well known business advice says, “Under promise and over deliver.”

Megalomaniacs are people too! After all, there have been megalomaniac leaders throughout history, and they turned out okay, didn’t they? I mean, in the case of the impeached, disgraced, and disbarred Bill Clinton who committed perjury in a civil rights trial, his first words as an ex-president were “I did a lot of good.” So right there you have proof that megalomaniacs do a lot of good.

I mean, they (megalomaniacs) occasionally rape individuals and tell the girl to put some ice on that, maybe the rape was accidental, who am I to judge? And they disgrace their office and lie sometimes, but they don’t put their citizens in peril, do they? And their (the megalomaniac’s) countries weren’t, like totally destroyed were they?

But maybe I’m missing some other examples in history. I’m not a history buff. Can anybody give us cases where a megalomaniac made life uncomfortable or maybe even sort of accidentally caused catastrophic collapse?

    • Teresa Davis McCormick

These are some : Adolf Hitler , Napoleon , Benito Mussolini, Alexander
The Great, Josef Stalin, Mao Tse-tung, Idi Amin, Franco, Juan Peron,
Mohammad Reza Pahlavi ( the Shah of Iran ) and though not confirmed but
probably Saddam Hussein and Moamar Ghaddaffi

He instituted a brutal dictatorship and directed intensive campaigns against minorities within Iraq, particularly the Kurds. U.S. fears regarding his development of weapons of mass destruction led to Western sanctions against Iraq. Sanctions were followed by a U.S.-led invasion in 2003 (Iraq War) that drove him from power. After several months in hiding, he was captured by U.S. forces. In 2006 the Iraqi High Tribunal sentenced him to death for crimes against humanity. Days after an Iraqi court upheld his sentence in December 2006, addm was executed. Pan-Arabism.

A megalomaniac is a person who is extremely full of themselves and overestimates their abilities.

He’s a malignant narcissist, as diagnosed by Dr. Charles Krauthammer. I second that opinion.

My New Year’s resolution is to become a megalomaniac. Every time someone tells me a story, I’ll turn it around and make it about me.

Are you the poster child for garrulous political stupidity, fmahoney?

Bush had an undergraduate degree from Yale and a Harvard MBA. His grades were better than Al Gore and he finished his degree.

Obama is not an alpha male, and you are unable to spell “even”.

Has all of that propaganda finally flattened your gamma-wave response on an EEG? Assuming of course one of my electrophysiology colleagues could actually find any activity in your brain at all.

  • DrSamHerman

As a fellow psychiatrist, I second the opinion that he is a malignant narcissist. Krauthammer, however, was not the first to point to Obama being a narcissist. The term malignant was added later.
