Dear #Obama2012: President Obama honored the late Neil Armstrong with a photo of...himself! Doesn't that seem to you kind of sick?—

No, really. He did; he inserted himself when attempting to honor Neil Armstrong. From the official Tumblr:
Neil’s spirit of discovery lives on in all the men and women who have devoted their lives to exploring the unknown—including those who are ensuring that we reach higher and go further in space. That legacy will endure—sparked by a man who taught us the enormous power of one small step.
—President Obama on the passing of Neil Armstrong
More from SooperMexican; of course, “just bloggers” have pointed this latest act of unmitigated hubris. Media? Crickets.
I found the source of the picture, and just as I suspected, it was a stock photo taken of Obama from their Flickr account …
… Wow, president mompants couldn’t even be bothered to take a fresh picture. Classy! What a way for the worst president in recent memory to egotistically dishonor the death of an indisputable American hero…
Unbelievable. When most people honor a legend and a hero, they don’t usually think to do so by inserting themselves into the mix. Of course, this is Obama’s modus operandi. Next, he’ll insert himself in Neil Armstrong’s official biography, like he did with biographies of former presidents. Next up: Obama’s head inserted in all photos of the moon landing.
We smell another Tumblr of “Obama in History.”
History? No one built that. Only Obama: He is everywhere, at all times. Even the passing of an American hero is simply yet another reason for President Obama to stroke his own ego.
All. About. Him.
