BOOM! Trump wins again!
The NFL has changed its national anthem policy and it’s a compromise of sorts. Players can stay in the locker room if they want to during the national anthem, but if they’re on the field they “shall stand and show respect respect for the flag and Anthem.” If not, the league “will impose appropriate discipline on league personnel who do not stand and show respect for the flag and the Anthem.”

In other words:
You want to hate on America, do it in the locker room away from everyone. Thank God the NFL finally acted on the anthem policy. See ya, Kaepernick & Co.

The NFL player’s union is reviewing the policy to see if it violates the collective bargaining agreement, but they’re not happy about it:

And as you might expect, SJW Twitter is not happy:
The new NFL policy is not a compromise. The players wanted to assert their right to peaceful protest. The league didn’t. The league has made it against the rules to do so. And no, staying in the locker room isn’t the same thing.

One thing I hope to see in the history books: how Kaepernick uncovered how blatantly racist the @NFL is and how much they care about corporate dollars and rich privileged people. #TakeAKnee #BLM #ImWithKap https://t.co/cqlN6958h1

I'll believe this is about "respecting our country" & not the #NFL protecting the interests of a lucrative ad partner when they stop taking money from the government in return for these displays of "patriotism."

I'm disgusted by the message that's being sent from the halls of the Justice Department to the playing fields of the NFL. We need to stand up to bullies, now cower before them
