Vice deleted a tweet this afternoon that indicated something many predicted: That the push to remove certain historic symbols (one way or another) wouldn’t stop at Confederate statues:
2017: “Team America: World Police” becomes a documentary https://t.co/15RBV7LfVr

I told you this was coming https://t.co/8EBS0Z49Gr

Deleted but not before being recorded for posterity:
You can delete it, @VICE, but the internet never forgets. pic.twitter.com/eT3EiBC2SB

Stay classy! As it turned out, Vice deleted the tweet and tweaked the title, but the original URL remains:
The article is still live. https://t.co/hO7TFidbV1

With a different headline. First said we should blow it up. Now says "Get Rid of" https://t.co/vS8cFfQBKu

Look at link. Shows original vice headline as well as screenshot of tweet. pic.twitter.com/Lsfn41uQ5c

So either way they’d like to “get rid of” it.
So Vice pulled this tweet and renamed the URL and headline to the article. The editors note is BS, we know damn well how they feel. pic.twitter.com/wupdqDMrFt

What's next? Statue of Liberty?
— ??SmartKitty?? (@KittyPatriot) August 17, 2017
Speaking of that:
Last week: The Statue of Liberty should decide immigration law.
This week: Yo time to blow up symbols of our founding
