After the flap over a non-scandal involving Kellyanne Conway having her feet on an Oval Office couch with her shoes on, Democrat Rep. Cedric Richmond, attempting to bring the humor at a Washington Press Club Foundation event, said of Conway “she looks very familiar in that position.” Richmond later claimed his “joke” was misinterpreted:

There was plenty of agreement with Clinton and praise for her taking the high road, but also many who were upset that Chelsea did what her mother claimed Dems do, which is “go high” when others go low:
