Keep digging: Is anybody buying Judd Apatow's excuse for this deleted Berkeley tweet?

Among the Hollywood liberals who were rooting on the rioting leftists in Berkeley last night was Judd Apatow:

After the “protest” quickly evolved into a full-blown riot, Apatow deleted the above tweet and explained why:

I deleted my tweet because it was vague. I never support violence. I do support peaceful protest against hateful people and awful ideas. https://t.co/wT3B11pelW

Anybody buying that one?

Sorry we peasants mistook your support of violent protest as supporting violent protests… https://t.co/qFiJUnARgu

What is at stake? Is he insinuating that they will start killing us if we don't comply? Terrorists! https://t.co/GZKMsGMljx

Judd deleted his tweet because he was worried about facing prosecution. https://t.co/6GTIY0xLE7

Then actually condemn those who are committing a whole hell of a lot of violence in the name of your mutual cause. #SilenceIsConsent https://t.co/J0x3w6HNp0
