'I've never felt this sexy': New York Post reports on women over 70 rocking Jill Biden's 'risqué tights'

We actually had a supermodel for a first lady for four years and the biggest fashion coverage she managed to make was, well, that time she wore stiletto heels to survey hurricane damage in Texas (she changed shoes on the flight, morons). There were also the stories before President Trump’s inauguration about how designers were preemptively refusing to dress the first lady.

But then Refinery29 noted on Inauguration Day 2021 that Dr. Jill Biden was bringing American fashion back into the White House with her “subtle sparkly coat.” And now we’re hearing from the New York Post how Biden’s “risqué” tights have inspired women over 70 to look sexy again.

Barf.

The Post reports:

“I’ve never felt sexy like this,” writer Sheryll Bellman, 76, told The Post while trying out a pair of Biden-esque black tights with her black pencil skirt and pearls. “I don’t like to stick out too much, but now I feel great.”

Here, Bellman and other stylish septuagenarian ladies tackle the bold-tights trend, parading around Manhattan in their own interpretations of FLOTUS’s controversial look.
