April Ryan is going to tell the truth about that bodyguard incident to CNN colleague Brian Stelter

As Twitchy reported, CNN’s Brian Stelter is going back to the well and taking another shot at proving to the country that Donald Trump is mentally unfit to be president after he joked this week about being “the chosen one.”

However, CNN has something else on its plate that’s starting to smell, and it looks like it will be up to Stelter to help April Ryan clean up that mess involving her, her bodyguard, and a local reporter who claims he was strong-armed out of a speaking event and his camera taken.

NJ.com reports:

Ryan’s bodyguard, Joel Morris, 30, was charged with assault, theft and harassment after an August 3 encounter in New Brunswick with reporter Charlie Kratovil. A criminal complaint alleges that Morris took Kratovil’s camera away and shoved the reporter’s arm behind his back, causing an injury to his arm and shoulder.

“You know how I’ve always said never let anyone write your story for you?” Ryan said in a video posted to Instagram on Friday. “Well, I’m going to follow my own advice. I’m not gonna let them write that story. I’m going to tell you the truth.”

Ryan said she would address the New Brunswick incident on CNN media reporter Brian Stelter’s show, “Reliable Sources,” which airs at 11 a.m. Sunday.

“You’re going to hear the real story,” said Ryan, 51.

Seems like the real story is going to play out in a court of law and not on CNN.

There was some very clear surveillance video from the lobby of the hotel where the speech was taking place.

Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to get to “the truth.”
