You know Max Boot, right? He, along with Jennifer Rubin, is a conservative columnist at the Washington Post. He (and Rubin) also made the New York Post’s “Mueller Madness” bracket, and it looks like he’s going to have the Russian collusion narrative pried from his cold, dead hands.
Maybe he was out sick for a couple of days and missed the release of the Mueller report?
Trump probably would not have won the presidency without the help provided by Russia—and without a coverup of his campaign ties to Russia. That’s a scandal worth investigating. My @PostOpinions column: https://t.co/zkMdQvdSQv
— Max Boot (@MaxBoot) March 26, 2019
In retrospect, “That’s a scandal worth investigating” would have been a stupid thing to say in late 2016, and there’s no excuse for it now except full-blown Trump Derangement Syndrome. Brit Hume summed it up best:
This is like a man who’s been hit in the head with a sack of bricks but has not yet realized it. https://t.co/Vbf6i4xfIm
— Brit Hume (@brithume) March 26, 2019
Solid burn.
Dude…get help. Take the “L” and slink away.
— Tim (@tntDVM) March 26, 2019
Is he's saying Trump voters are too stupid to realize Jesus was not really arm wrestling Hillary, so they voted for DJT?
— Sandy (@RightGlockMom) March 26, 2019
Yeah, those Facebook ads of Jesus arm-wresting Hillary are what put Trump over the top; that or the cartoon of Bernie Sanders doing muscle poses in a Speedo.
And WaPo keep publishing this sad fantasist’s conspiracy theories.
— Rita Panahi (@RitaPanahi) March 26, 2019
Well, they have to keep at least a couple of conservatives on staff to provide balance for the rest of the paper.
Here for the Яatio.
— neontaster (@neontaster) March 26, 2019
Max, seriously. Retire.
— Julie Adamen (@julieadamen) March 26, 2019
Is this one of Mr. Boot's posts from November 2016?
— Michael Osterman (@mosterman) March 26, 2019
Did I just time warp to 2017?
— Susan Reeder (@ReederSusan) March 26, 2019
Wow! Dense. At first, I thought you were retweeting something from last year.
— Isaac Smith (@wordsmithI) March 26, 2019
Me, too!
— Barbara Moeller (@bbmoe) March 26, 2019
he just woke up from coma
— BG51 (@51bgg) March 26, 2019
I guess he doesn’t have cable.
— Howard Roper (@whroper) March 26, 2019
Max: Where you at man?
— Paul Sansoucy (@SansoucyPaul) March 26, 2019
Needs to fast forward to the present…
— ERIC DAHL (@ERICDREWDAHL) March 26, 2019
Boot has but one drum and he's going to bang on it until his hands bleed.
— Lynne Pence (@lynnepence) March 26, 2019
In some alternate universe, there is a possibility Max was right. Just not this one. They'll get his "I'm With Her" button when they pry it from his cold, dumb fingers, I guess.
— All school (@allschool) March 26, 2019
It's funny how the harder the media jackals try to undermine Trump, the more they undermine themselves. I suspect they're just too dense to know this.
— T Black (@dolby6503) March 26, 2019
I think we need to reseed #MuellerMadness and give @MaxBoot a #1 seed. https://t.co/E8tvKD0rbP

It´s what happens when half the nation becomes completely untethered from the truth, and don´t get put on the mat for it. Today truth means zero to most on the Left, the degree of vitriol spewed at Trump is everything.
Must stop supporting these types, starve them back to sanity
— Jeff (@catoyescaesarno) March 26, 2019
The really sad thing is Boot is an erstwhile serious guy with lots of good work in the past….it truly seems as if he had some sort of breakdown
— limitedgov't (@jlbrach) March 26, 2019
He doesn't deserve your RT, and he won't next time.
— Vic Scherer (@daytrend) March 26, 2019
No, I think it's good that Brit brings this to our attention, otherwise you could really underestimate how seriously Disturbed those people on that side really are
— Parker Covington-Smythe (@ParkerCSmythe) March 26, 2019
Concussion protocol.
— Skipper North (@skipnorth1) March 26, 2019
@MaxBoot is a confused man! It’s hard to give opinions when completely clouded
— Mike Stehn (@MikeStehn) March 26, 2019
I can't stand Trump, but he really won. People like this are embarrassing.
— Mo Ray (@mo2dmax) March 26, 2019
Geez people give it up!
— kangoyaya (@kangoyaya) March 26, 2019
Brit, He just came back in the DeLorean. He missed a few things and is catching up. May I suggest he go to the future next time. Would be easier that way.
— TheMoralCase (@CaseMoral) March 26, 2019
Trump Derangement Syndrome — it’s real and it’s frightening.
