UNREAL: Check out The Hill's tweet about the failed Born-Alive Protection Act; Update: Politico ups the ante

As Twitchy reported, the Senate today voted down by a vote of 53-44 Sen. Ben Sasse’s Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the sole intent of which was to mandate that medical attention be given to a child that was born alive because of a botched abortion. The alternative? Leave the baby to die, because it wasn’t “supposed” to be born.

As sick as that sounds, check out how The Hill framed the vote in its tweet:

“Senate Democrats block GOP bill targeting abortion providers.”

WHAT?

It targets abortion providers how, exactly? By giving medical attention to a newborn they failed to kill before it was delivered?

So now the party of science says that if a newborn baby wasn’t “wanted,” then it should be denied medical care and left to die because the abortionist screwed up. It’s that super-scientific “wanted” part that distinguishes between “It’s just a clump of cells” and “I’m going to have a baby!”

The Hill isn’t always bad, but this is bad. Really bad.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that voting against the bill were all of the Democratic senators running for president in 2020.

Update:

As bad as The Hill’s tweet was, it can’t compare to Politico’s headline:

Yep, the whole thing was about “jamming” the Democrats. That’s all it was.
