Report: Lawsuit against the White House includes that video of Trump wrestling CNN's logo as evidence

As Twitchy reported earlier, CNN is suing President Trump and several White House officials in an attempt to garner some publicity, and also perhaps get Jim Acosta his press pass back that he lost after playing an aggressive game of keep-away with a White House intern.

The Daily Caller has already found at least five things wrong with CNN’s lawsuit, but Scott MacFarlane found something so right: he reports Tuesday that that animated GIF of Trump wrestling the CNN logo has been submitted by CNN as evidence.

Is this the video where the network tracked down the maker of the video and threatened to doxx him over it? Wow, CNN really did not appreciate those GIFs made with its logo getting tackled, punted, and pinned.

MacFarlane also said this tweet from @realDonaldTrump has been submitted as evidence:

Is there something factually wrong with that tweet? If CNN includes every tweet in which Trump calls the network “fake news,” this could go on forever. And what is this supposed to do, exactly, to win Acosta his press pass back?

This is a bit of a disappointment, for those who know Ted Olson; we’re hoping MacFarlane got this bit wrong.
