Home Depot Worker's Anti-Trump Hat Draws Death Threats

Krystal Lake, 22, wore a hat bearing an anti-Trump slogan to Home Depot where she worked.

Someone posted a photo of of the Staten Island, New York resident online, and it started spreading across social media.

Lake, a Bernie Sanders supporter, defended her hat’s message, “America was never great,” saying it was a response to Trump’s “Make America Great Again.”

She said people at work wore “Vote for Trump” pins, so her hat was not the first political accessory to be worn by an employee.

“I just wish we would worry about making America better — not ‘great again,'” she said.
